Shortly after being honorably discharged from the United States Army where he served as a radio technician, Mike started his career in the electrical industry in 1987.
Working as an apprentice electrician primarily in the industrial field Mike had the opportunity to work in large plant atmospheres such as Square D, Balson Foods, etc. and later serving as a service technician for a large lighting maintenance/retrofit company traveling the east coast.
While completing work on a project in Georgia, Mike decided to settle in the North Georgia Mountains. In addition Mike continued to work for various electrical contractors serving the industrial, commercial and residential markets in the greater Atlanta area.
In 1994, Mike relocated to Jasper Georgia where he makes his home today. In addition to his vast field experience, Mike has owned his own business, served as a project manager, lighting designer and estimator while maintaining a Non-Restricted Electrical Contractors License (#EN101290) issued by the State of Georgia.
